24 weeks of training for my first ever marathon. Giving you the details - from what I'm eating, to what I'm watching while running on my treadmill, to how cold it is during my outside runs.

Day 98 - 69 Days To Go
I worry that my previous blog entry may have seemed negative - but it was an extremely positive experience for me. I learned a lot from the race that I can use for my big race, and even if I make mistakes in the Mississauga Marathon I don't think it would be possible for it to be a disappointment. Before I read Daniels' Running Formula (by Jack Daniels, PhD) I used to see training as the necessary element to achieve a goal. Now I see it as part of the goal. There is something to be said about doing your best.
Nick was able to take some great shots of me at the Chilly Half Marathon. This one shows the gear I had - I think I was the only one with a balaclava. But I was warm. How was anyone able to recognize me though? I had Gary call out my name as we passed each other - and another friend mentioned he saw me from the crowd.
