Day 124 - 43 Days To Go

A 7.98km run outdoors to hit my weekly mileage. I ran the route I used to run when training for my 5k and 10k races last summer. It's not ideal because there's a lot of twists and turns through the streets to get up to 8km. However, there's only one stop light that I have to deal with on the route.

I'm getting more push back on my no drinking policy. Going out on a Saturday night knowing that I have a 30km run the next day isn't appealing to me. I've asked people to pledge and I think I can sacrifice some drinking and late nights to honor the support people are showing. Really - I don't think anyone would care if I skipped a few days of training, had a few drinks and enjoyed myself - so I'm putting the pressure on myself. (Can you tell I skipped out on a night of drinking tonight? Am I trying to convince myself?)
